VoIP, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technology company, Square7, has launched what it claims is the first cordless Internet telephone with both Ethernet and PSTN connectivity - the Cordless DualPhone2.

The new phone is both an IP and traditional telephone designed to work with VoIP services offered by major telecomms providers. The phone can plug into a standard phone socket and an EthernetPort using the setting provided by the VoIP supplier. Users can also make free calls to other Dualphone2 handsets.

A spokesperson for Square7 said that it was delighted to be able to launch the new Dualphone2, as it has found that since the launch of its Dualphone for Skype there is a significant demand for a dualphone that offers Ethernet connectivity.
