NEW TEST APPLICATION for the Agilent Advisor is designed to help network professionals quickly identify and measure voice quality across networks delivering VoIP. The IP Telephony Reporter brings together the end-to-end measurements of delay, objective voice quality and echo gathered from the company's Voice Quality Tester (VQT), and data on problems inside the packet network gathered from the IP Telephony Analyzer. It then presents this information in a single report that baselines voice quality vs. packet network metrics. The voice quality measurements produced by the VQT are plotted on a 3D graphical display, providing an instant impression of overall voice quality as experienced by the listener. Other reports indicate how voice quality varies over time, whether unacceptable voice quality coincides with changes in packet network behavior, and whether high voice utilization impacts data network application response times and throughputs.--Agilent Technologies
