Savings of Over 50% on Calls to Canada
Milpitas, Calif., February 10, 2004 - Dialpad Communications®, Inc., a leading global provider of Voice over IP (VoIP) solutions, announced today that it lowered its rates for Internet Telephony calls to and from Canada. Previously at 3.9 cents per minute, calls to Canada from over 200 countries are now as low as 1.7 cents per minute, a savings of over 50%, through the company's DialpadMonthly plans. The DialpadMonthly service provides a number of minutes that can be used to call to and within the U.S., and as of this date, DialpadMonthly users will be able to use their minutes to make calls to Canada as well. Along with the enhancement to the DialpadMonthly service, the company also lowered international call rates through its DialpadPrepaid service from Canada to routes around the world, with over 30% price reductions for calls to London, Sydney, the U.S. and more.
"Dialpad has been successful in improving quality and reducing costs through greater efficiencies and better utilization of technology," said Craig Walker, CEO of Dialpad. "As our call traffic continues to grow at a rapid rate, we are also able to use economies of scale to provide more value to our customers. We plan to bring several new services and calling features to market in the near future."
