is currently allowing users to call regular toll-free numbers in
certain countries, such as Taiwan, at no charge, regardless of where

Can
Skype be used as a political tool? Shashi Tharoor, author and long-time
United Nations employee, held a Skypecast last week with WABC-TV New
York. Tharoor is currently the UN Undersecretary General and is a

VoIPing For Profit
Gumtree is a classifieds ads community site aimed at the UK market. According to the Skype Blogs,
over 5% of listings have a Skype button. Besides the standard listings
for landlords, etc., some of them are for language tuition. Personally,
I think that Skype, and similar soft VoIP clients, are ideal for this
sort of use. The Skype post didn't say whether the tutors are using Jyve to accept payment for their time.
